To install the Metapace K-1 cash drawer, you only need to connect the drawer's single cable to your receipt printer. Caution: This also fits into the output for the Ethernet cable. There is a small cash register symbol next to the correct input.

The cash drawer does not require any power and does not need to be connected to the cash register app. This all runs through your printer.
