Before you enter your products, you should make sure that the VAT rates are correctly deposited.

You can set your default VAT rate when you first register and adjust it at any time under Settings → Company → VAT.

From January 1, 2024, new VAT rates will apply in Switzerland. The standard rate will increase from 7.7% to 8.1%, the reduced rate will increase to 2.6% (previously 2.5%) and the special rate for accommodation will increase to 3.8% (previously 3.7%).

To adjust the VAT rate in Paymash you have to log in to the admin area and go to Settings → Company → VAT and adjust the VAT.
