How do I reset my mPOP cash drawer?

How to reset your mPOP device:

1) First, delete the connection settings of the target printer on the tablet/phone.

iOS

Open the settings screen of the tablet (e.g. iPad), and select Bluetooth.

Tap blue (i) of the device name (STAR mPOP-XXXXX). If the device name was changed, select the device name it was changed to.

Tap on "Ignore this device" to clear the setting for connection with the main device.

Android

Open the tablet's settings screen and select Bluetooth.

Tap the settings button of the desired device name (STAR mPOP-XXXXX) in the device list. If the device name was changed, select the device name it was changed to.

Tap "Forget" to delete the setting for connection with the main device.

2) Initialize Bluetooth settings for mPOP.

Turn off mPOP.

While pressing the Bluetooth reset button on the bottom of mPOP

turn on the power switch on the side of mPOP.

Hold the Bluetooth reset button for 10-15 seconds without releasing it.

When the initialization process starts, the Power LED and the Error LED on the top of the mPOP will blink.

When the blinking starts, release the Bluetooth reset button.

When the initialization process is complete, the Error LED stops blinking and only the Power LED remains lit.

Turn off the mPOP.

3) Reboot the tablet

Restart the tablet (iPad, Android tablet, etc.) that was connected to the device.

4) Reconnect to the tablet.

Turn on the mPOP again and re-establish the Bluetooth connection (pairing) with the tablet.

You can also use mPOP utility app to confirm the setting for mPOP.

5) Find the device in the Paymash app under Settings > Printer, add it and do a test print. Make sure that receipt printing and cash drawer opening are allowed in Paymash app under Settings - Printer.
