This article explains how to connect the myPOS Mini or Combo to an iPad or smartphone.

Required: Open your myPOS merchant account now and start using one of our myPOS terminals.

The card terminal must be converted to cash register-integrated for this purpose.

  1. Switch on your Mini or Combo.

  2. Go to the settings of the Mini (F2 key) or Combo (Func key).

  3. Search for the option "Change Profile" and open the profile menu with the corresponding number key (usually "6").

If the menu item "Change profile" is not visible, please contact Paymash Support (support@paymash.com).

Provide either the serial number of the device or a box barcode. We will then request myPOS to unlock this menu item for you.

  4. Select the "Cash Register" option. ATTENTION: The machine will reboot itself.

  5. Select "Bluetooth" as the connection type

  6. When selecting the host connection, we recommend the myPOS Data SIM. If no mobile phone connection is possible, the Wifi option can be used.

The unit should now display the 'Waiting for connection' screen.

Connect mini card terminal with Paymash (Bluetooth)

  1. Open the Paymash app and go into the settings

  2. Then select "Terminals", you should now see all providers

  3. Select myPOS and go to "D200", your device should now be displayed

If the connection is successful, the mini's screen will change from 'Waiting for connection' to the device's home screen. If the connection is not successful, restart Paymash and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

Connect Combo card terminal with Paymash (Bluetooth)

  1. Open the Paymash app and go into the settings

  2. Then select "Terminals", you should now see all providers

  3. Select myPOS and go to "K300", your device should now be displayed

If the connection is successful, the combo screen will change from "Waiting for connection" to the home screen of the device. If the connection is not successful, restart Paymash and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

IMPORTANT: In order to be able to accept card payments, the payment type "myPOS" must be stored in your account.

Log in to https://app.mypaymash.com/and go to Settings → Payments.

Create a payment type with the name "MyPOS". The upper and lower case must be correct.
