Using TWINT at the Register

Learn how to use TWINT as a convenient and fast payment method at your register and what requirements must be met.

Prerequisites for TWINT Payment

To enable your customers to pay with TWINT at your register, the following components and steps are required:

  1. PaymashPay Card Terminal: You need to purchase and set up a PaymashPay Card Terminal.

  2. Adyen Account: A fully verified account with our partner Adyen must be available.

  3. Activated Payment Method: TWINT must be activated as a payment method. (If this is not yet the case, please contact our support to enable it.)

How your Customers Pay with TWINT

There are two options available to process the payment with TWINT through your register:

Option 1: Direct Selection at the Register

  1. Select the desired products and add them to the shopping cart.

  2. Click the blue button to start the payment process.

  3. Proceed with the payment and select the payment method TWINT.

  4. The required QR code is generated as soon as the payment is executed.

Option 2: Selection via the PaymashPay Card Terminal

  1. Select the desired products and add them to the shopping cart.

  2. Click the blue button to start the payment process.

  3. Proceed with the payment and select the payment method PaymashPay.

  4. On the connected card reader, the QR code and then TWINT must be selected.
