The following settings allow you to optimize your self-ordering system for your restaurant's workflow. This ensures a smooth and clear ordering experience for your guests.

1. Order fulfillment options: Eat-in and Take-away

Specify whether your restaurant offers the options “Eat-in” and/or “Take-away”.

The selected options are displayed to the guest in the self-ordering portal when they submit their order.

Note: At least one of the two options must be activated.

You can find the corresponding setting under Settings → Self-ordering.

2. Mandatory contact details for take-away orders

If you activate this option, guests must enter their contact details on the self-ordering page when selecting “Take-away”.

This ensures that you can contact them if you have any questions or need to confirm pickup times.

3. Description text for customers

Under Settings → Company → Store → Description text, you can enter a short info text for your guests.

This text is displayed on the self-ordering page – ideal for information about opening hours or pickup processes.

4. Set opening hours

Under Settings → Company → Store, you can enter your store's opening hours.

If a guest selects the “Take-away” option, only available pick-up times within these opening hours will be displayed during the ordering process.

5. Manage closing days

You can also add closing days (e.g., public holidays or company vacations) under Settings → Company → Store.

No pick-up times are available on these days.
